My Story

I always hated running.

Absolutely hate it. I always tell people that I cannot run more than 2 blocks. In 2010, I was forced by my coworkers to run walk on the treadmill before we go out to have a festive dinner, ON.MY.FLIP-FLOPS. I walked and complained, rinse and repeat. I don’t know what got to me, I went home and decided that I will start running.

I started downloaded the couch to 5K app from my iPhone (that’s what everyone said you should do if you never run before), tried the walk 60 seconds run 60 seconds thing. OMG, this is really boring.

Next day, I ran the whole way. Slowly, no problem at all. Okay, it wasn’t THAT easy, it just wasn’t that bad. Slowly, I attempted a 5K, 12K (Bay to Breaker), then finally Half Marathons!

I *really* want to attempt a marathon, but I am not sure if I can do it.
